Getting Started with the AI Assistant in UEFN

The Epic Developer Assistant for Unreal Editor for Fortnite can be used as a reference to get answers around how to work within UEFN or can be used to generate verse code.

This tutorial is meant to be a very first step in using the assistant to generate code and bring that code into your islands. It is intended to introduce the idea of the AI assistant and verse coding in the hopes that you will continue your verse journey from what you learn!

First, you will need to create a new island or work within an existing UEFN Island. The image below is the Island template selection screen. In this case we will create a new Flat Grid Island

Once your new island is opened, you will want to open the AI assistant. Click Windows to open the windows menu and select AI assistant.
